Privacy Policy
This policy explains how BrandALE handles information when you use the product, connect third-party platforms, and manage content workflows.
Information We Collect
We collect the information needed to operate BrandALE and provide the features you use. The amount we collect depends on how you use the product and which integrations you connect.
- Account and workspace details, such as your name, email, role, and workspace settings.
- Content and campaign inputs you provide, including prompts, briefs, captions, and media you upload or generate.
- Authorization data from platforms you connect, including access tokens and the scoped data those platforms return.
- Usage and device information, such as actions taken in the product, log data, and technical details needed for reliability and security.
- Cookies and similar technologies stored on or accessed from your browser or device for authentication, security, session continuity, saved preferences, reliability, and analytics or personalization when you consent.
How We Use Information
We use information to run the service, deliver the workflows you request, and keep BrandALE secure and reliable.
- Authenticate users and operate workspaces and roles.
- Connect approved integrations and perform the actions you initiate.
- Generate, preview, and manage content and campaigns.
- Improve reliability and performance, provide support, and protect the service against abuse.
YouTube API Services And Connected Platform Data
When you authorize a third-party platform such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Google, BrandALE may access profile, content, publishing, or performance data permitted by the scopes you approve. We use that data only to power the connected workflow you requested.
BrandALE uses YouTube API Services. For a connected YouTube channel, BrandALE may access and store the channel identity, video identifiers, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, publishing status, privacy status, and performance metrics that the approved Google scopes return. BrandALE uses this information to display the connected channel, show and refresh channel content and analytics, and upload or schedule a video only after the user selects YouTube and confirms the publishing settings.
Use of YouTube features remains subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. BrandALE's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
By default, BrandALE marks stored YouTube performance data for refresh after six hours while the connection is active, marks source availability for recheck after 24 hours, and may request a refresh when analytics data is more than 60 seconds old as the analytics dashboard is opened. Provider availability and refresh completion times may vary. BrandALE retains YouTube API data only for as long as needed to provide the connected features, comply with the user's instructions, and meet legal or security obligations. Users can delete stored BrandALE data at any time using the controls described below.
You can disconnect YouTube from BrandALE's Integrations page to stop further access, delete your BrandALE account and stored data from Settings, or follow the instructions on our Data Deletion page. You can also revoke BrandALE's access directly from your Google Account connections page. Removing data from BrandALE does not delete data stored by YouTube.
We do not sell connected-platform data, and BrandALE does not edit or delete your existing YouTube videos.
LinkedIn Connected Account Data
When you connect a LinkedIn personal profile or company Page, BrandALE and the service provider that manages the OAuth connection receive the authorization data needed to operate the integration. This may include an OAuth access token, your LinkedIn member or organization identifier, profile or Page name, the authorizing member's Page-admin relationship when applicable, and identifiers and delivery status for content you choose to publish.
BrandALE requests this information when you connect or reconnect LinkedIn, when the integration identifies your profile or the Pages you are authorized to manage, and when you ask BrandALE to publish a post. We use it only to display the connected destination, confirm that you can publish to it, and publish the text, images, or videos you approve.
LinkedIn features remain subject to the LinkedIn User Agreement and LinkedIn's handling of information is described in the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
Content you approve for publishing is sent to LinkedIn. BrandALE may use service providers to securely manage authorization and delivery. We do not sell LinkedIn data or use it for advertising, member profiling, or training AI models.
BrandALE retains LinkedIn authorization data, member or Page identifiers, and publishing records only for as long as needed to provide the connected features, follow your instructions, maintain security and operational records, and meet legal obligations.
You can disconnect LinkedIn from BrandALE's Integrations page to delete the active OAuth connection and stop further access. You can delete your BrandALE account and stored data from Settings or follow our Data Deletion page. You can also remove BrandALE from LinkedIn's permitted services in LinkedIn Settings & Privacy. Disconnecting LinkedIn or deleting BrandALE data does not delete content already published on LinkedIn.
AI And Generated Content
BrandALE uses AI models to help generate and adapt content from the inputs you provide. To do this, your prompts and related inputs may be processed by the model providers that power these features, solely to return a result to you.
You remain responsible for reviewing and approving generated content before it is published or used externally.
Data Retention And Security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the workspace and product, and to meet legal, security, and operational requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your Rights And Choices
You have control over your information and connected integrations.
- Disconnect any integration at any time to stop further data access.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information.
- Manage workspace access, roles, and connected accounts through product settings.
Changes And Contact
We may update this policy as the product and our integrations evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
